The old supports the new

The old supports the new

  • Welcome to the Property management blog, our diary of property management issues. Many of you are seeing more and more business activity and rental inquiries come from online efforts. You may be spending lots of resources to boost the number of visits to your website. Don’t forget that offline efforts can be very effective for creating online traffic. Here is an example. My friend Kamyar Shah from http://www.worldconsultinggroup.com is helping the Columbia Missouri Business Times create and promote its online version. One of the “old school” marketing tactics he adopted to help generate online traffic was some good old fashioned door to door distribution. He dropped sample papers at 100 business locations and saw web traffic go through the roof in comparison to previous traffic. So don’t think that all the old ways of doing things are obsolete. You might find that by dropping brochures for your apartment community at every workplace in the immediate neighborhood you can drive a lot of visitors to your website and in return generate leases. Bye for now, Tron
