It is the busy season of self-storage now and things are hopping. Is there a special that you are letting customers know about? What are you doing to promote your storage facility? Garage Sales are also big this time of year and I have taken calls from people looking for storage for their sale supplies!! So with that you could do a number of specials based on needs for a garage sale. You could pass out fliers with a move in special.
I think if someone is looking for short-term storage (which is common this time of year) a special will really bring the renters in.If you don’t have a special this time of year you may lose out. A majority of the people we talk to expect a special. That’s because they are calling around and getting prices. If another facility has a special and you don’t regardless of amenities and the price, it’s often more cost effective for that person to have a special for a short term rental. So when you are thinking of ways to drum up a little business think of some specials that may make your facility stand out from the rest and then see what a difference it makes in your sales!!!
