And of course, a residential manager has to be skilled in drywall repair and painting. It helps if they can diagnose problems and prevent them from happening. Otherwise, how do you think everything gets fixed, from a magic ring? A residential manger has to be a people person. Often he will encounter projects that are too big for him to take on alone. So a residential manager will have to negotiate contracts for different types of services. Then they must oversee that the project is being done accurately with efficiency. A residential manager will have to interact with the apartment rental tenants and work with building owners. Otherwise, a residential manager is human just like all of us.
