Real Estate Listings
Real Estate Listings
- The first thing they always show you are the listings for roommates wanted. You will have to move down the page to get to the real estate listings. The saddest part of the newspaper classifieds is real estate listings outnumbering the help wanted ads. And there seems to be a negative correlation between help wanted ads and real estate listings. When help wanted ads decrease, real estate listings increase. And the direction the economy is headed, help wanted ads will turn into help me out ads. Though many industries are affected by the economy on a national level, real estate markets seem to operate independently from one another. One town might be a buyers market and another town less than 100 miles away might be a sellers market. And you can usually tell just by looking in the local classified at the real estate listings section. Of course the size of the community affects the number of listings, but usually the more homes for sale, the more it is a buyers market. The advantage of real estate listings in a local paper is they are narrowed down to the local area. Just below the roommates wanted section, apartments for rent are listed. The descriptions are brief, however if you want more information just find it on the internet. The newspaper also offers coupons and specials that are not offered on the internet. So using the combo is the best approach. Below the apartment rental listings are Duplex real estate listings. Like the apartment for rent section the ads give a brief description and entice apartment hunters with special offers to get them to call. Some duplex for rent ads discourage smokers and pet owners from calling by letting them know right away about their strict policy. Condos for rent follow duplexes for rent and are the smallest section in the real estate listings. Another sign of a dwindling economy is the number of ads that say reduced in big bold print. Although condos for sale real estate listings are easy to find on the internet, condos for rent are a bit more difficult. Many condos for rent are owned by regular people and not by big companies or corporations. So the independent condo owner is more likely to list his condo in the local newspaper classifieds than on the internet real estate listings. But that is not always the case. Some condos and townhomes are owed by a property management company. There mission is to gobble up as many properties they can for profit. Houses for rent are akin to condos and townhomes. Most of these real estate listings are owned by individual home owners, but some are run by property management companies. Though, before a homeowner can turn his home into a rental property, the home owner association must grant permission. Some HOA groups frown upon rental properties in their neighborhood and will veto the proposal. Newspaper real estate listings advertise even more than what is listed above. Someone in the market can find manufactured homes for rent, office space for rent, and storage space for rent. Lastly, there are ads from people who are looking for things to rent. The real estate listings are endless. StorageMart Eola Rd & New York Aurora, IL 60504 Self Storage Blog TQM
