The first property management recommendation is suspended shelving. If you do not have suspended shelving, install suspended shelving into that unused space below the ceiling. Most garages and storage units come with tall ceilings. Storage customers tend to neglect the extra space above their heads. With suspended storage shelving, one could tuck medium and lightweight storage, like storage boxes and storage bins, onto storage shelves suspended from the ceiling. The only drawback is weight, but this is a perfect way for small item storage. Now let’s move this property management topic to bike storage or bicycle storage. There are many ways to get that heavy bicycle off the ground. One great way is to use storage hooks. Storage hooks screw into a ceiling joist so your bicycle hangs from one of its wheels. However, if your bicycle is too heavy to lift the best bicycle storage solution is to use a pulley system that allows you to quickly and easily raise the bike out of the way. Storage pulley systems are relatively inexpensive and easy to install. There are a few ways to hang a long extension ladder; it’s up your property management skills on which way is better for you. The easiest and most convenient way is to hang storage hooks or storage brackets on the wall. Just drill two holes in the wall, twist in the storage hooks, and hang the ladder. However, hanging a long extension ladder on the wall wipes out that location for other storage potential. Hanging storage brackets from the ceiling might be the best area for ladder storage. Most people chose the former way because it is easier and you don’t have to stand on something. Property management also faces problems with wheelbarrow storage. Wheelbarrows are fairly heavy and awkward. The trick is not limited to getting them off of the floor, getting them down off the wall is a challenge too. Storage hooks and pulley systems are usually incompatible with wheelbarrows; however, there is a storage solution found at your local hardware or home improvement store. For just a few bucks, self storage customers can buy a special storage bracket designed just for wheel barrow storage. With the storage bracket, you simply set the front lip of the wheelbarrow in the lower bracket and lift the back end up into the upper bracket. To get the wheelbarrow down, just unlatch the upper bracket. With a little money, and energy, you can solve all of your property management issues within a day. Good luck.
