Levels of service
Levels of service
- Welcome to the property management blog, PhoneSmart’s diary of the self storage world. A friend of mine went to pay her rent for her office studio to the property management office of the building in which she rents a small office. The owners also rent to apartment dwellers and students in room mate matched apartments. The receptionist figured my friend was an apartment renter or a student, because she had just come from working out at the gym and was not wearing her business clothes. The receptionist was rude and snappy and very short, not even bothering to look up. When my friend asked a question about her office, the receptionist quickly realized she was dealing with a business tenant and apologized for being rude, and did so profusely. Why would there be two levels of service? Rude for apartment dwellers and polite for business tenants? How does this make any sense? Don’t you want your apartment tenants to renew their leases, as well? Do you offer different levels of service, too? Tron
