friends at the window

• I checked into my hotel today and went to my 17th floor room and opened the curtains to look at the view. I was enjoying the view when all of a sudden a man appeared at my window looking in at me. Little did I know the window washing crew was hanging from the building with their moving scafolds. Both he and I were surprised to see each other. We waved at each other, had an embarrassed giggled and then he moved his platform up a few floors. There are some things you need to keep in mind in a high rise, that you don’t other places. It would have been nice for the hotel to let people know that the window crews would be at work today, just so we wouldn’t get caught naked with our windows open. Sometimes letting people know about the seemingly little things will go a long way in avoiding an embarrassing situation.
