My husband hates veggies. Last night I made Salmon, rice, and mixed some squash and zucchini together. Of course, he made a sour face when I put a spoonful of veggies on his plate. Fortunately, our son Isaiah, was sitting right there and I told him he needed to be a good example and eat his veggies.**After the first few bites, he decided not all veggies are yucky. And it turned out that he almost liked them. Sometimes when our boss gives us something new to do, or we have to do things a new way, we give a sour face. We can act like little kids, or husbands, who don’t like their veggies. But if we’d just taste it and give it a try, we might end up liking it. It might be good for us. I know there isn’t any way my husband Joel will ever eat Brussels sprouts, so I stick with the things he likes. I sneak in something new every now and then, and some times he finds something new to like. Hopefully it will keep him in good health for a long time. Introducing new foods is like introducing new projects or tasks. If you pile it all on at once you’re going to end up with a mess on the other end!
