Welcome to the property managment blog, where we look at the world of property managment.
I recently stayed in a hotel that boasts that it was designed by business travelers. Why not design your own hotel, I thought. And then I noticed a few things I might have asked for, too. I certainly like a little kitchenette, so I don’t have to do “on the road” kitchen kinds of things in the bathroom. I’d offer a free beer to myself, too. Why not?
What types of services or amenities have you offered because your tennants have asked for them. I bet a few changes didn’t cost anything or were even cost shavers. I know you can open up a can of worms sometimes by asking customers what they want. They may ask for things you cannot afford to deliver. They may ask for things that go against the grain of whatever culture you have developed, which means you have to say “No” or change to accommodate.
If you haven’t asked your tennants lately what they would like to see, you may be feeling daring. In that case, ask them and see what happens.**bye for now, Tron
