Check the status of the houses for rent , especially the interiors, water connection or electricity, bathroom facilities, kitchen facilities, backside of the doors or windows etc. If possible, take pictures of the house before you move in. The selected houses for rent should have proper security arrangement. There should be arrangement for fire alarm and emergency exit. The heating system should be in working condition. If possible the house should be properly fenced. 10. Before moving into your house, check the insurance facility. The owner must have insurance for the house, but that may not be sufficient for your purpose. In such situation, you must have a proper insurance for your belongings.
